Magic Magic Again Magic With a Kick
Wong (Mandarin: 王) is the electric current Magician Supreme, protector of the New York Sanctum and librarian of Kamar-Taj. When their erstwhile librarian was murdered past Kaecilius and the Zealots, Wong and then became the highly protective keeper of all the aboriginal books when he met Stephen Strange, and assisted him in his studies. As Kaecilius attempted to use his power to bring Dormammu to World, Wong and the other Masters used their ability to somewhen defeat him, at the cost of Aboriginal One's death. With Kaecilius' conflict over, Wong had then joined Doctor Foreign in protecting the New York Sanctum.
Wong stood with Strange and Fe Man when the Blackness Gild had attacked the Earth in search of the Time Stone, holding them back until Wong was forced to remain behind to protect the Sanctum every bit Ebony Maw managed to kidnap Strange. When Strange perished forth with half of the universe'south population to Thanos, Wong became the new Magician Supreme. Mystic Arts Principal
Trained by the Ancient One

During his time with the Masters of the Mystic Arts, Wong learned of the Infinity Stones, such as the Space Stone and its association with Red Skull before it was found by Due south.H.I.E.Fifty.D..[iv] Wong too knows that the Time Stone was housed inside the Eye of Agamotto.[1] Wong trained aslope Kaecilius and Karl Mordo, while they were sent by the Ancient One to locate the Night Scepter from a Witch. Coming together Doctor Foreign
Wong was appointed as the librarian at Kamar-Taj following the unexpected betrayal of Kaecilius who had murdered the previous Librarian and stolen pages from the Volume of Cagliostro. While still working in the Library, Wong was introduced to Stephen Strange who had simply begun his preparation in that location. Wong remained serious despite all Strange's attempts at jokes by comparing Wong's own single name to Adele and Eminem while Wong simply focused on his work.
Impressed by his level of understanding of all the Mystic Arts within such a short amount of time training with Karl Mordo, Wong decided to requite Strange access to some deeper parts of his library which were commonly for Masters of the Mystic Arts only and handed him new books, informing Foreign that he could borrow any book he pleased, including the Ancient One'due south private collections of books, noting that no knowledge in Kamar-Taj would be forbidden for him to learn.

Battle of Globe
In 2023, following the Blip, Wong was contacted by a restored Doctor Foreign and traveled beyond the universe, enlisting allies for the boxing against an alternate Thanos and his army.

As a longtime student of the Ancient One and one of the almost knowledgeable Masters of the Mystic Arts in Kamar-Taj, Wong is serious and unflinching when it comes to performing his duties, both as an teacher and afterwards, a librarian of Kamar-Taj. - In the comics, Wong is the son of Hamir and the descendant of an ancient social club of Chinese monks that, for ten generations, accept served the Ancient Ane, the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. He served equally Stephen Strange'southward valet and friend.
